"All the friends I have now are from the Yardi EJ program. It's helped me become more social and make friends from different backgrounds than mine."

-Yardi EJ First Year Student

"I joined the Yardi EJ program because of the financial help that it provides. After being accepted into UCSB, I was planning to go to community college until I received the Yardi EJ Scholarship."

-Yardi EJ First Year Student

"One highlight of the program is the monthly dinners. Another highlight is the Yardi EJ First-year Seminar because I’m learning about environmental justice, and it's helped me become more confident speaking in front of others. I also like going to the peer mentor's office hours because they help me with my schedule and any questions I have."
